Without further ado, here is the pattern now available in my Ravelry Store , Ko-fi Shop, and my Etsy shop!

I’m so grateful for everyone that has supported and followed my work <3 I really couldn’t feel more blessed, having had so many people give me kind words, feedback, and of course pictures of the awesome things they’ve made!
ONE quick answer to a question a lot of people have asked – what about more sizes? The answer is that I will probably EVENTUALLY write more sizes for the Elf Coat such as Plus Sizes, but for now I am going to take a much needed break from working on this pattern π I’ve been laboring over it for literal years, and though I love this design as one of my most precious brain children, I need to work on other things for a while. You can see what I’m up to by liking and following my Facebook Page or find out what others are making with my designs by joining the MF crochet group, the Magic Fantastic Crochet Atelier!
(UPDATE 7/21: The Elf Coat Plus Size pattern is now available! Please see the link here for those sizes or click the big link at the top of the page to get the links to all currently available sizes <3 )
And now, read on for the pattern spiel!

This elegant fantasy-inspired sweater coat features an A-line silhouette with a curling, pointed geometric hem shape inspired by flower blossoms, delicate pointed bell sleeves, and of course a long and ample pointed elf hood. The variegated yarn creates dazzling prisms of color across the separately worked pieces of the coat.
Featuring Tunisian crochet in a stitch that mimics knitting, the texture and weave of this coat is both sleek and warm. The Tunisian technique creates a tightly constructed fabric that drapes nicely while also holding a tailored shape that fits and flatters.
Lots of inspiration for this came from recycled sweater artist Katwise, and you should definitely check out her website at www.katwise.com !

I have always loved this one from the very beginning β£οΈ
Me too <3 Thank you!!
Will you ever do this fantastic pattern in xl and xxl sizes please
Hi Adele! I do plan on expanding the sizing options, but it won’t be for a while. See the explanation within the blog post for more details!
I love this coat, especially in the lovely fall type colors. I am wondering how tall the person is modelling. (Don’t know if it’s you or not). I am almost 5’8″, and I’m hoping it would be long enough, I also tend to be longer in the torso. Can the pattern be adapted for this? I totally want to make this.
Hi there! The model (me) is 5’6″, with the heels on its probably more like 5’8″. If you make the pattern and need it longer though, it’s very easy to add extra rows in the waistband portion to lengthen the coat! π
Iβm currently making your gorgeous elf jacket. Have made the simple and pointed wedges. Could never quite get the gauge right even with the actual wool and hooks, but Iβm going with it! One question though. The pattern calls for 6 simple wedges for the skirt, but the construction part only has four. Is this an error? Or do I need more pointed wedges.
Many thanks.
Hi Helen, which size of the Elf Coat are you working?
I am working the medium size.
Ok great! The picture shown is for the Small, which has 4 simple wedges. The Medium should in fact have 6. At the time of the blog post, I didn’t have a picture of the Medium skirt wedges yet, so I substituted a pic for the Small size to give the general layout.
I did find the full picture of the medium skirt wedges laid out and added it to the blog post! Now you can see exactly how the Medium works -that should be much better π Apologies for the confusion π
Brilliant thatβs perfect. So the medium starts and ends with simple wedges. Thank you for clarifying I wasnβt going doolally!!
Absolutely and thanks for the feedback! π π
